Dear Sir/Madam, My name is Helen Keane, I am a student of the B.A. Culinary Entrepreneurship at Athlone Institute of Technology conducting research under the supervision of Ms. Frances McGettigan. The topic of my thesis reads as follows: An Investigation into the Types of Short Food Supply Chains used by Artisan Food Producers in Ireland. The aim of this research project is to analyse the various types of short food chains used by artisan food producers in Ireland. The objectives of the research are as follows; 1. To analyse the types of short food supply chains. 2. To study the relationship between short food supply chains and sustainability. 3. Evaluate the opportunity for the creation of a new short food supply chain which can be used by artisan food producers located in Ireland. Completion of the questionnaire would take approximately 15 minutes of your time. Participation in this survey is completely voluntary and anonymous. If there are any questions that you prefer not to answer, you may skip them. If you would like to write additional comments on the questionnaire, please do not hesitate to do so. Please be assured that all information that you provide will be kept strictly confidential. You will not be identified in the thesis or in any report or publication based on this research.
