The Maryland Aviation Council (MAC) was established to actively promote the growth of aviation and help meet the transportation and economic development needs of Maryland. MAC engages with legislators, state and local agencies and aviation professionals who are helping to shape the Maryland’s vision of aviation for the future. To that end, it is crucial to receive feedback from the aviation community to help guide MAC’s activities as it seeks to promote, improve and incentivize continued aviation growth throughout Maryland.
The MAC Pilot Committee has been formed to provide a voice for aviators and a forum where ideas, concerns and needs can be discussed and shared. As a start, we are asking the state’s pilot community to participate in the following brief survey. In addition to learning more about Maryland-based pilots, MAC will use the survey learnings to identify issues/concerns, develop action plans, and share findings with stakeholders. The survey results will be announced at the MAC Regional Aviation Conference in Ocean City on June 13-14, 2024.
If you are interested in becoming a MAC member, please explore membership opportunities and levels here. The Pilot Committee is seeking members interested in joining and participating in the committee’s work. Change will not happen without the involvement and active participation of Maryland’s pilot community.
