Medical cannabis/marijuana is basically taking the cannabis plant and extracting the chemicals in it (mainly CBD) to create oils, butters and other forms of it for individuals to ingest it to help them deal with whichever ailment they have if they have one or multiple ailments. Medical cannabis Medical cannabis/marijuana has been found to be beneficial to individuals who have a variety of ailments such as chronic pain, epilepsy, MS (multiple sclerosis), chronic headaches and or migraines, loss of appetite due to chemotherapy, and many more.

Definitions:

Cannabinoid - any of various naturally-occurring, biologically active, chemical constituents (such as cannabidiol or cannabinol) of hemp or cannabis including some (such as THC) that possess psychoactive properties.

CBD - a nonintoxicating cannabinoid found in cannabis and hemp

THC - either of two physiologically active isomers C₂₁H₃₀O₂ from hemp plant resin especially: one that is the chief intoxicant in marijuana

Marijuana - the psychoactive dried resinous flower buds and leaves of the female hemp or cannabis plant (Cannabis sativa or C. indica) that contain high levels of THC and are smoked, vaped, or ingested (as in baked goods) especially for their intoxicating effect

Cannabis -the psychoactive dried flower buds, leaves, or preparations (such as hashish) or chemicals (such as THC) that are derived from the cannabis plant
