Project:

This project is a research inquiry into the correlation between the generational age and the use/interpretation of emojis. Basically, we want to see which emojis individuals would choose in different texting contexts. 


Personal Protection:

The data and findings gathered in this study will be used to draw conclusions within an English 201: Intermediate Composition research paper. No personal identifiers will be used to ensure your anonymity. Please contribute as much or as little as you feel comfortable with. There are no known risks associated with the participation in this study.


Benefits of Participation: 

The answers you may provide will hopefully help us gather a greater understanding of the topics in this survey and our overall successful collaboration within our English 201 community.


Costs of Participation: 

Your contribution to this survey will come at no cost to you, beyond time allotted to your participation.


Data Confidentiality:

All information collected during the study period will be kept strictly confidential and will be destroyed after the project is completed. No publications or reports from this survey will include indentifying information any participant without your signed permission, and after your review of the materials.
