You are invited to participate in a survey conducted by Thulile Ngonyama-Ndou under the supervision of Dr Michelle Renard, within the Department of Industrial and Organisational Psychology at Nelson Mandela University. The researcher is studying towards a Masters’ degree in Industrial and Organisational Psychology.
The survey you have received has been designed to study the work adjustment and job satisfaction of academic expatriates in an Open and Distance Learning Higher Education Institution. By completing this survey, you agree that the information you provide may be used for research purposes, including dissemination through peer-reviewed publications and conference proceedings. You are under no obligation to complete the survey and you can withdraw from the study prior to submitting the survey. The survey is developed to be anonymous, therefore, we will have no way of connecting the information that you provide to you personally. Due to the anonymous nature of the survey, you will not be able to withdraw from the study once you have submitted your response. If you choose to participate in this survey it will take about 15 minutesof your time.
The research was reviewed and approved by the NMU Research Ethics Review Committee (ref. H17-BES-IOP-020) and UNISA Research Ethics Review Committee (ref. 2017_URERC_013_RS).
