This quick survey will ask you questions about using emojis in texting, especially in situations with roommates. Throughout the survey, keep in mind that most of the hypothetical questions imply texting as the only source of communication. This is anonymous, and your answers will be kept private and will be destroyed after the project is complete. Answer these questions to the best of your ability, and feel free to skip any questions you would not like to answer. We hope that the data gained from your insight into this topic will help us more fully understand the use of emojis and their varied meanings, along with succeeding in our English 201 course. There are no costs or known risks associated with participation in this study. For questions on anonymity, destruction of data, and/or confidentiality in this survey, please contact Dr. Hicks Kennard at hicks1c@cmich.edu. The creators of this survey along with the users of the survey results are Molly Baker (baker8mj@cmich.edu), Lexus Phinney (phinn1ln@cmich.edu), and Elizabeth Uzarski (uzars1e@cmich.edu). We greatly thank you for your time to help us with our research project of emojis and conflict resolution. 😁
