New tracking technologies and the fit body

My name is Elli Nearcou. I am a fourth-year undergraduate student of Geography at the University of Glasgow.

I am carrying out quantitative research for a project; the questionnaire investigates how fitness technologies are being used in people’s everyday lives and how people are using or making sense of this data to their advantage. The project also aims to find out the extent at which fitness technologies can impact on people's emotions, as well as evaluating whether or not this concept of self-tracking is resulting in people leading a more disciplined lifestyle.

The questionnaire will last no longer than 5-10 minutes and I would be very grateful if you could spare me this time to assist me with my project.

All participants must be over the age of 18 and any research participant contribution will be confidential and anonymous. The findings of this questionnaire will be used to prepare a report based on technologies of fitness. This report will be an undergraduate dissertation for the University of Glasgow submitted in December 2017 and will not be a public document.

Thank you
