The above-mentioned dissertation is looking at the potential taxation and health benefits if South Africa were to legalise the sale of marijuana. The purpose of this survey is to determine the level of and the reason for the consumption of marijuana in South Africa. The School of Economics at the University of Cape Town has given me ethics approval to conduct such research.
