Background and aims of this project

We would like to invite you to take part in the investigation of the relationship between the UK luxury brand and emerging market consumers. The focus of this dissertation is to address how the UK luxury brands increase emerging market customer base in a globalized world.


Why have I been invited to take part?

You have been invited because you are a Chinese or India consumer

 

Do I have to take part?

No. You do not have to take part. If you do decide to take part, you can withdraw your participation at any time without needing to explain and without penalty by advising the researchers of this decision. You will be given this information sheet to keep and be asked to sign a consent form.


What will happen if I take part?

You will need to complete 1 questionnaires. The questionnaire should take approximately 10 minutes. The research study will take place at the University of Stirling. There will be no risks are involved in taking part


Are there any benefits in taking part?

There will be no direct benefit to you from taking part in this research. There will be no payment for taking part in this project.

 

What happens to the data I provide? 

I am carrying out this study as part of my personal studies towards the completion of my degree. As part of the project, I will be recording personal data relating to you. Personal or confidential information will be stored anonymously using numbers or letters with password protection. My supervisor will have access to research data for the academic purpose. Your personal data will be kept for three months and then will be securely destroyed.

Will the research be published?

This research will be used for my postgraduate dissertation. This project has been ethically approved via General University Ethics Panel. If you would like to discuss the research with me via my email:huw00016@students.stir.ac.uk.
