Investigation into the opinions of the general public on the reintroduction of wolves and lynx into the United Kingdom

I am a Master’s degree student studying Wildlife Conservation at the University of Wolverhampton. I do not represent any agencies that are planning to reintroduce wolves or lynx into the UK. Both wolves and lynx are native UK species but were driven to extinction by humans. There are now plans to reintroduce them to parts of the UK if there is sufficient suitable habitat and if there is general public support for this. This questionnaire aims to investigate public opinion on the proposed reintroductions of wolves and lynx in the UK. It is important to remember that; • Your participation is voluntary • Your participation is anonymous • You may withdraw from the research at any point without the need to give a reason why. • You may omit answering any questions you do not feel comfortable answering. • Any data given will be treated with full confidentiality and, if published, will be anonymous.
