Hello!

  I am Ivan's wife, Katie. When my oldest joined a team last year, I was so confused about the kinds of games that ADM teams play. Our regular games are called jamborees. They games start in November and usually run until about March. The jamborees usually have about 3 organizations present and we split the ice into threes and play short 15 minutes. We switch teams and play about an hour or so. Score is not generally kept. its gets a little crazy but still fun!  A scrimage may be just two organizations and are in addition to regular games. 

   Tournaments are generally an entire weekend and would be played in full hour games. Your child would get a chance to play in 3 to 5 games. The score is kept and there is usually a playoff aspect. We can sign up for local or out of town tournments. We had a blast getting to know other families at those times and scheduled team meals and activities between the games.
