I am created this survey to measure the barriers to receiving eating disorder treatment. Doctors are grossly undereducated about eating disorders, which most often leads to inadequate direct care, insurance refusal to cover treatment, and the patient receiving no or inadequate treatment until the situation becomes life threatening. My goal is to create an advocacy plan to determine the impact of this issue and come up with some solutions to remedy the situation.
