There has been continued confusion regarding blood bank policies which has led to errors occurring during procedures regarding ordering/wasting blood products. The purpose of my project will be to identify areas of confusion regarding blood bank/blood product policies and create a new, improved workflow to enhance communication, reduce errors, and reduce waste in the OR.
