A. Privacy Statement

1. This survey is published and managed by Protective Behaviours Southern Africa (PBSA). Please be aware that we take privacy concerns seriously and we make every reasonable effort to respect them.
2.  This survey is entirely voluntary you are in no way obliged to participate in this survey. You are however implored to participate in the survey as the information will be used to make improvements to the operations of PBSA. 
3.  YOU ARE NOT REQUIRED to provide any form of identification or identifiable data to complete this survey it can be completely, and/or submitted anonymously!

Research and your privacy

1. We are committed to protecting your personal information and respecting your privacy. Personal information is defined as any details that will enable you to be identified, such as ID, telephone  numbers, email address etc.
2.  When designing and executing our research, it is our policy to take all necessary steps to ensure that the personal information you provide is processed fairly and lawfully.
3. Only authorised staff have access to personal information and they are obliged to respect its confidentiality. We do not sell, rent or exchange any personal information supplied by you to any third party. Nor do we use any of the information you provide for direct marketing or other non-research activities.
4. It is our policy to monitor our internal procedures regularly to ensure compliance with the relevant statutory requirements in all that we do, including POPIA.

What we do with the information that we gather from survey responses

1. In obtaining your cooperation to participate in the survey, we undertake not to mislead you in any way about the nature of the research we are conducting, the way in which the data is collected and the use that will be made of the survey results.
2. All of the information that you provide will be treated as confidential and will only be used for research purposes. Your comments will not be identified as belonging to you, instead, they will be combined with those gathered from other survey participants and will be analysed as part of a group. We do not use any of the information you provide for direct marketing or other non-research activities.
3. If you provide personal information that enables you to be identified - e.g. your name, ID numbers, e-mail address or telephone number, this information may only be used to contact you to request your participation in subsequent committees or PBSA discussions.
4.  Your participation is voluntary. You are entitled to ask that part, or all, of the record of your involvement in the survey be deleted or destroyed.
5.  This survey is general and not targeted at any individual, it is an enquiry into PBSA overall operations.

Any humour contained in the survey is purely humour to entertain and to keep you engaged and for no other purposes other than that! and that is that!
